UK TRIBES

 The group I think I mainly belong to is Urban but I also cross over into Alternates. The following are the groups I think I belong too and an explanation of what they are.

Metallers(alternates)

Metal Heads left the Tribes map in 2012 on the grounds they had grown out of the scene or been absorbed in to other Tribes, but in 2015 we find them going strong with a younger audience in cities like Birmingham.
The modern Metallers are all about head banging, band T-shirts and loud music (as ever!) but are distinctly different to their Hardcore cousins – today’s Metallers love a drink and are just as likely to have dance, Lady Gaga and pop punk alongside heavy metal on their playlists. More of an entry-level Tribe than metal stereotypes would suggest, the normalisation of tattoos and diversifying music tastes across UK Tribes mean Metallers are more common than you’d expect.




I think I belong to this group as I love listening to rock, mental and punk rock music! I enjoy having a drink and going out with my friends. I love playing music loud as I can!

Get Paid Crew(urban)

Get Paid Crew are highly aspirational, driven by money and being their own boss.
More straight-laced than their innovative DIYer cousins and likely to be working hard to set up their own business, get a good job and make money, money, money – once connected to dodgy dealings, there is now a huge amount of respect for the success orientated GPCs.




I enjoy being in control of what I do and being my own boss. I like to work individually to achieve highly. I enjoy making money even if its hard work. "another day, another dollar"

Trackies(urban)

Trackies are laid back enthusiasts motivated by the need to chill, whether that’s gaming, watching films or listening to music.
They’re all about hanging out, playing sports and computer games, ordering Chinese .Typically seen as those with the potential to achieve but lacking in motivation, these guys just want to chill out man!


I enjoy chilling out and listening to music. I spend most of my spare time listening to music weather its through my phone, on my cd player or on vinyl.  I enjoy at the end of the week to listen to music and to treat my self to a take away.













The person I think could possible me in the same tribe as me is Kurt Cobain. He had great love and passion for music and is an inspiration to me. I love his music and everything he stands for. Something's he did was quite controversial but he always stood up for what he belived in. I think I am reasonably similar to him because I love rock music and love his music which he made through Nirvana. I also stand up for what I think is right. Kurt Cobain also enjoyed chilling out which I also enjoy.
